No drama or animosity or anything like that, I just feel like I could focus better on the work itself either releasing independently or with deadlines & more pr help from a bigger label.
I've just found out that there is supposedly a large amount of drama happening related to SMR right now, and realized this was probably the worst time to officially retract from the label if I didn't want to look like there was secretly drama behind it.
There wasn't, in fact, drama behind me leaving, despite the vague and obviously-incomplete wording of why I'm leaving. It's literally just weird business mundanities.
Wasn't aware of all the drama because I only use cohost and have been busy doing essentially anything other than "keeping up on petty twitter and instagram drama" all day, pretty much daily. Walked onto a landmine, as it were, except the landmine is finding out dudes on twitter who call themselves shit like "Herr Silber Werwolf" or "DEVS VVLCANICVS" are posting.
