Get ready for a cat fact that will fumble local political turmoil in the face of a great and powerful foe, then get assassinated by a furry who reeks of their gaming room!
Also, I'm announcing a Cat Facts hiatus. I was picked up to soundtrack a game and need to focus on that game and the album I'm still recording, cannot be worrying about writing the new Cat Facts background every 7 weeks. I might just return to Cat Facts soon anyways, though.
from what it looks like, all viewership after premiere left the video after, at most, 40 seconds. the first thing that conclusively indicates that this isn't one of those "small youtuber uploading gaming VODs" videos happens at one minute into the video.
I was worried about this happening while working on it, not making it obvious it's not just skyrim gameplay early enough causing people to assume they just got recommended someone's VOD series they think is gonna blow up, and leave the video, kneecapping its ability to work from youtube recommendations.
If you're curious: no, this isn't a skyrim VOD with a weird title. To slightly spoil it, the first 8 minutes is an intro mod I made for the specific purpose of this video, including original voice acting and subtitles, and then it immediately goes into 1 hour and 12 minutes of original music occasionally interrupted by a cat fact jumpscare.
Guess that's an important lesson learned here: work your ass off but don't start with fireworks and nobody'll ever keep going to find out what it is. I mean I already knew that but I forgot "start" means "first 5 seconds" on youtube and made the fireworks start after a minute of slow intro.
Please tell me if the video sucks if you end up watching it, though.
