yes this is a sort of art vs artist post 😄 and also now you know what i look like if you haven't seen my face yet!
The pattern certainly needs some adjustments (and perhaps I need a bit more practice with the embroidery machine) but I'm really liking the concept! The mouse being minky/soft is so wonderful and pettable 😄 I think I'd like to make the cotton background light blue or another light color instead of white as well. (That will certainly make the white whiskers show better!)
eventually/once I'm happy with them, I will be selling these (on my Etsy store) with a customization option for the mouse to look however you like, so that people can have me make it look like their pet mouse! I'm going to make a "friend to rats" option as well with a more rat-looking face. 🐁🐀
