i want to tell u abt my last balatro run. by the last couple antes i had a deck that was mostly 5 of diamonds and a joker that randomly names a rank and suit that will double the multiplier whenever it is played (i wouldve sold it since i was playing smthn so consistent, but it was a negative so it didnt take up a slot). i was on the last blind of the run, and had just pressed play on a hand of five 5 of diamonds. then i looked at that joker and saw the card it had decided to specifically name was 5 of diamonds. a completely unnecessary but beautiful thing. i love big number
i somehow convinced myself balatro would have an achievement for winning with an unmodified 52 card deck and im upset that theres not bc it means i made my run harder for no reason, but i still think its rly cool that i did that
if i ever stop gambling , it is a cry for help. this is where i belong
