forgive the twitter-flavored meme format but

>talking to developer friend
>she says she’s been working on her blog
>ask if it’s a new article or just new css
>she doesn’t understand
>pull out illustrated diagram explaining the difference
>she laughs and says “its a good update”
>check her blog
>it’s new css

yeah like, I’ve been on the internet long enough to know what greentexts are, it’s just this particular “it’s a good [whatever], sir” meme seemed to be all over my twitter feed for a hot minute and I (mistakenly) assumed it had originated there

Ah well then let me give you a fun little history lesson on the meme format you were using specifically because it's more than JUST a 4chan post.

Originally it was "Cringe or Based" Gym. The gym employee had no idea what the hell the channer anon creep was talking about and said it was a good gym. It ended up being a "Cringe" gym.

Next an AI generated 4chan greentext thread said "Creepy" or "Wet". It was Wet. This was in the early days of these AI generated things picking up steam so people thought it was delightful rather than, you know... what we think of AI Generated stuff these days.

So yeah it's not just a 4chan meme format. It's a procedurally generated 4chan meme format!
