everything is getting worse across every vector of industry and commerce because that is how neoliberalism operates. i do not say this to be pessimistic! i say this to put into context how small a part of life video games are. i will simply enjoy a video game every so often while feeling bad that we live in a pretty shitty era of human history. easy to hold those two thoughts in my head
