this was a test run and a huge success! new plan is to get all our groceries by bike unless the weather's bad (and until it gets too cold). this is a week's worth so i shouldn't need more space than this cart and cooler offers

How you liking the burley cart? Are the roads kinda cracked and hilly where you are?
roads / trails are fairly bumpy but i don't have any steep hills to deal with, it's about a 8 mile round trip. i also had one wheel go over the curb with the other on the cut and it was fine
the trailer's great! i used to use it to haul stuff for work as well and have never had any problem with it. my one complaint is that for my workloads i'd like bucket walls so i don't have to mess around with straps
