Note that Goofy is attempting to wear a surgical mask, which is better than nothing, but pretty much useless compared to a well-fitting N95 or P90-rated face mask.

I do UI programming for AAA games and I have opinions about adult games

i'm not going to say Glass Onion was Great at portraying it but i did appreciate that it didnt pretend it didnt happen, and turned masking into characterization
I haven't seen GO yet but I feel like if it what, 20% of Knives Out that's still going to be a great time
it's basically the only thing I can think of that even approaches it, which Sucks
Interestingly, the Vampire - Shadows of New York visual novel came out in September 2020 and has the pandemic start to pop up midway through the story (with masks featured on character sprites too). I remember being surprised to see a video game react so quickly to a major world change that still felt new at the time; looking at it now, the weirder thing is that I can't really think of a lot of other media that did it since.
gosh, that's nice to see someone doing
but also sad that they're the only ones, kinda thing
The first few pages of Shot and Chaser by @bigbigtruck stick out in my mind as one of the few pieces of media I saw made during the pandemic period as recognizing the life changes happening in the character’s lives.
