I'm finally on the Blue App (Thank you for the invite, Mysterious Patron), and it's hard to overstate how obviously it's destined to foster the same kind of crabs-in-a-bucket mentality in everyone, where the """best""" posters are also the bitchiest ones because the site encourages that behavior. The Quote Tweet is inherently poisonous for discourse! You should know this by now!!

Anyway, I'm also getting absolutely no traction there so I think it's time to branch out to Mastodon again.

i feel like unless you do the kind of (shit)posting that was popular on Twitter, have an audience ~~or share nudes¹~~ you barely see any engagement on there, it's weird.

i havent had an account there and i havent had to hear about main character/group bullying bullshit that gets forgotten in 12 hours since elon took over twitter. cant understand why so many are clamoring to get back to that. i think people really are just todd solondz characters sometimes that cant feel good about themselves without making someone else feel worse
