Started building something small and dumb today, an automatic phone rocker requested by my wife. She needs it to breed eggs, and she needs me out of her hair.
I went to buy some shitty triplex wood and found that the store had an an amazing clearance sale! I got a replacement for the power sander that was stolen a mint and half ago for less than a quarter of the original price!! 🤩 (Sure, it's missing the front on the boot, but that's easy enough to replace.)
I took some dimensions for my wife's phone and glued wood together at least. I already ripped a small electric motor out of an old toothbrush, but I don't have the necessary plastic gears. Ordered those parts from Amazon, and I'll continue the build tomorrow. Good stuff for this weekend warrior. 👍
