One of the most requested features for Another Crab's Treasure (a great game that some call "Baby's First Souls-like) is apparently a map screen that you can pan and move and maybe set some waypoints on. You can't move the camera at all on the current implementation of the in-game map screen. I don't know why the devs chose to implement it in this way, whether it's a lack of resources or just their creative direction, but take it from the guy who has been working on exactly these features for a AAA game for the past two years: Shit's hard, yo ๐
