One thing that Small Saga does incredibly well is that it squeezes storytelling out of each and every fight sequence. There's almost no filler in this eight-hour-long RPG, which means every fight advances the plot and tells you something new about the characters. Incredible, top-shelf storytelling, that I'm positive was just an absolute pain to put together.
