k0tya is allowed to go anywhere she wants in the confines of the research facility, but she generally prefers to stay on the upper floors (which is where the labs are), because first floor is offices, and she gets all shy and awkward around non scientist employees. meanwhile the scientists all like her very much and she is always welcome to poke around everyone's working stations to chat or offer any help.

after closing hours she either goes into sleep mode and charges in the staff room of the robotics lab (unofficially shura's office) or walks around the building looking for stuff to do. among her favorite activities are stargazing on the roof, scaring pigeons (also on the roof), reading the books in shura's "office" (sadly no romance novels, but maybe someday), and "talking" to the other machines at the labs (like laptops or centrifuges). but her number one favorite way to pass the time is the aquarium in the biochem lab's staff room. she can easily spend hours just watching the fish swim around
