Wasn't satisfied with yesterday's trays, so I went bigger and made a dang jar
Turns out it needs almost exactly 600 grams of Resincrete, so that's pretty convenient! Wonder if the cap will darken much after the sealant. I thought I used a pretty heavy dose of pigment in there, but it still come out rather pastel. It's a new one for me (Homeware Designs), so probably just need to experiment with it some.
I've never heard of this stuff before but it looks pretty neat! Does it shrink much as it sets?
Not that I've noticed! It sets incredibly hard, to boot. Way more durable than plaster. Takes paint really well too!
I'm so curious!! Ive been wanting a solution for making puppet parts and this might be just the ticket. Price doesn't look too bad either.. I'm glad I stumbled on to your post today!
