Today's adventure in navigating our cut-to-the-bone travel industry involved:
- Waiting on the tarmac for an hour before the pilot announced we were delayed due to weather.
- Waiting another hour for confirmation of said weather.
- Deplaning.
- Standing in line for customer service waiting on news.
- Surprise, it's canceled!
- Frantically trying to rebook for a later flight while the airport wifi crumbled from everyone else in line doing the same.
- A refreshing luncheon of grease cunningly shaped like lo mein and orange chichen from under a heat lamp.
- Waiting three more hours for the new flight.
- Boarding being delayed due to a child locking themselves in the lavatory.
- Finally getting into the air.
- Waiting half an hour because the destination was short staffed by the weather and didn't have anyone to connect the ramp to the plane.
Swear to god, if Wednesday is like this, I'm hitchhiking home down 95 instead. I'll sad 60's Hulk walk away into the credits.
