No big project this weekend. Just assorted prep for other things...
Sanded the second attempt at air dry clay pieces. I'm already feeling much more confident with this batch as they're thicker and dried better. Liking these!
Also rediscovered the skin from the last pour that I did and it was nicely dried, so punched out some rounds to use in bezels later
Oops I lied and finished a few dozen bezels
Are they for jewelry or keychains? Hecked if I know! I sure did make 'em though
Now that they've had some time to fully set with sun exposure, I've gone through and pulled out a few of the bezels with some unfixable blemishes to turn into keychains
I mean some could probably be fixed but that's a lot of effort
It's good to have some b-stock around for when I finally get that shop rolling. Might be some free pack-ins for first orders or something?
Unfortunately I lost the jewelry findings that I thought I had, so it'll be a few days until some turn up from The Internet and I can actually make Nice Things out of the rest...
Oh I'm super happy with how these are turning out
These finding caps were a little too small to use on the waxed cotton cords I was planning for originally, but this leather cord snugs right in there no problem
My only concern now is length. I've got a giant sasquatch neck so it's tough for me to judge what would be nice. So please! Help me with answering the poll!
