Wanted to use up the rest of this block of DAS, so thought I'd try seeing how it behaves in a mold. I'd seen some videos of folks doing this to make embellishments for other crafts. I'm not sure how well it'll work, but that's what experiments are for~ :eggbug-devious:

Still had way too much clay left over after filling this old blocky rune mold. Grabbed another oldie, this vegvesir plate mold, for the rest. Both are pretty worn out, so I'm not going to cry if anything goes wrong with either. It really does show how tough it is to smooth out DAS clay, though. That's about as even and level as I could make it after 15 minutes of squidging and pressing.

No clue how long it will take either to dry, even if they fully do. Might have to gently demold after a day or two to try getting some air to the inner surfaces.
