something that really stands out to me about these photos is how many sharp details there are in spite of the low resolution and heavy dithering. like the graffiti almost looks like it was added after the fact
yeah honestly considering it's a "toy" digital camera from 1998, the image processing is pretty impressive. someday I wanna put together one of the gbcam flash carts that allow for custom ROM exposing a bit more of the underlying variables
unfortunately putting one of those together requires some fiddly soldering and (unsurprisingly) donor parts... I do have two of them, but I don't trust my skills
I used to use a bespoke link cable setup based on this one! but now I just use a BennVenn Joey Jr which dumps them straight out of the SRAM and is much, much faster, if slightly less cool
God these are both super cool and very eerie. The quality is amazing but to a point its almost uncanny?... These feel like stills from some analog horror game.
