anyway on this Tuesday’s stream I’ll be going back to N-Gage hardware via the current best means of capturing it: webcam on a tripod with the N-Gage on a stand
figured out that the reason Ashen felt so slippery was due to the framerate being set to 60 FPS in the emulator; capped it to 30 and it immediately became less slippery. it’s occasionally a lot worse than 30 on actual hardware and feels like it was designed with the limitations of the system in mind (thus: movement tied to framerate)
all this to say that i breezed through the first 3 levels of Ashen on an actual OG N-Gage, i'm such a pro gamer™️. also i will stream things like this because it is objectively funny
