Just watch the first 6 minutes. I recommend watching all of Diminish! It's an un-fiction Let's Play about a rage game made by the player's sibling who has passed. I'm mostly bringing it up because the sister's (Teddy) speech about how cringe culture stomps out people's passions for things they enjoy really resonates with me. It's nurturing, sorrowful and just so kind. (Tw; for mentions of suicide and bullying)

This post has content warnings for: bullying, terminal illness, grieving the death of a sibling, suicide mention.

Then this video essay analyzing Diminish also works as a sample taste of what to expect getting into it! Sagan's enthusiasm describing this series really pushed me to watch, it's that good. Also you get to hear from the creator of Diminish in a portion of the video.

I feel it is true that passions are being regularly stomped out.
Often, especially today, I think people tend to equalize "outspoken passion" to "people shilling stuff" so people tend to be pre-emptively dismissive
