I'm going to be honest, when I started this, I did not think this was actually going to work. This turned out way better than I could have possibly hoped for.
There are some places where I want to touch up the paint a bit (not happy with how the yellow ochre on the body turned out), and I definitely want to stiffen up some of those joints so I can actually pose the thing. It also leans a bit in the stand because the shield is heavy... but it worked.
... Yeah, I definitely got the scale wrong when I printed this boy. He is comically large compared to the model kit! I'm pretty happy with my paint color-matching, though, especially considering I painted mine before I got my hands on the model kit!
Anyway, I took this photo way back in December 2023, and then completely forgot to upload it until now. Oops!
