I am currently sinking time into the Castlevania GBA collection on my Switch. I've beaten Harmony of Dissonance and am over halfway through Circle of the Moon, which has be decently challenging! Highly recommend this collection if you love the Metroidvania genre.

That's a hard question. Soma Peries/Marie Parfacy and Sumeragi are huge favs of mine because as a woman with Problems, I empathize with women who also have Problems. My love of Aki Izayoi (or Akiza Izinski) from YuGiOh 5Ds when I was 11 or 12 probably made me biased towards liking Soma ~6ish years later because women who have weird special brain powers fucking rule. Sumeragi and the way she dealt with her issues also felt pretty realistic to me.
Sergei Smirnov was also a good dude. I was extremely sad when he died ;-;

Younger me picked up this show on a whim since it had been referenced in Steven Universe and was blown away by... well... everything! I grew up on Tamora Pierce books and was already sold on the idea of a girl becoming a knight or princelike figure, but I was not expecting all the symbolism or the layers to the story. I should rewatch it sometime.
