Luna has lately been a very independent cat who isn't much for being pet while she sleeps, and doesn't really seek me out for lap time. Sometimes when I pet her, she'll purr and act Coy, but inevitably moves away to be undisturbed while she sleeps. A polite "No thank you." You gotta respect it.
Today, though, she specifically mewed for attention and curled up on my lap while purring as I pet her for a solid fifteen minutes and fell asleep, contented.
I am so in love with this cat. I want nothing more in life than her approval specifically.
