Oh god, my mother-in-law asked me what I want for my bday. This is gonna be a nightmare.
You see, the thing with her is that if you tell her you want, say, a comic book, or a video game, or whatever, she'll then reject it, and demand i pick something else to ask for on MY birthday.
She somehow makes it all about what she likes. Her reasoning being that she wants to have fun getting the present, and if my wishlist doesnt match up with the things she likes, then I need to change it.
Its the most selfish form of gift giving I've ever experienced.
