Like, its still free labor they're providing to make any mods. On top of that, like, BG3 and Eldin Ring are kind of apples and oranges as far as their respective modding communities and focus are concerned. Partially because BG3 is more focused on looking at your character, where Eldin Ring doesn't really ever point the camera at them for more than a passing moment.
More importantly (IMO) BG3 was developed with the intention to be modded (there's a folder for them in the base game!) while Eldin Ring was not and it shows in just the number of mods available for each game on the nexus. Excluding adult mods, BG3 has nearly twice as many in the much shorter time that its been out.
