UPDATED RELEASE HERE

They're finally here!!

After what feels like months of work, I'm finally ready to release my initial set of dancing characters for Stepmania and Project Outfox! The character models are all sourced from various places (I'm not that good at creating 3D models: I basically taught myself blender for this project). For example, the Intern Secretary Eggbug (character originally created by @kyn) model was created by Cohost's own @modernmodron!

You can find the characters and dance files for download here. If you have any trouble downloading things from the GitHub page, please let me know. I've tried to add some instructions in the README.md file (which shows up if you scroll down), but I know that GitHub's UI can be a bit confusing if your brain hasn't been poisoned by computers.

The primary reason I did this work was because I wanted to get some new dances moves for my characters, and the previous skeleton did not work well enough for that. But now I've got support for the original dances from DRR and a bunch of MikuMikuDance animations!

I've still got a few more characters to convert over to the new skeleton, and if you've got a character you really want to see, then let me know!

in reply to @Ongion's post:

If you're using the default theme, right after you select a song, the game will display "Press <Green Rectangle> again for options" for a bit before it starts the song. If you press the start button again during that time, it'll open the Options menu. If you have characters installed, the option should show up near the bottom of that menu, and you'll hit left/right to scroll through the options.

With as many characters as are in this pack, it'll only show one option at a time, and default to "None". So if you just see "None", try hitting left or right on it anyway.
