the thing about listening to a baseball radio broadcast as opposed to watching the game on TV? every play that happens, you gotta visualize it in ur mind. and it can look as cool as you want

Since I grew up listening to both Ernie Harwell and Tom Cheek call games over the radio, but there's nothing else quite like baseball on the radio. If you've ever been curious if baseball is for you, find a game on the radio, grab a cold beverage and a sandwich, and just listen for a few innings. You can get swept up in the action so quickly you'll be hanging on the Play-by-Play person's every word.

dunno about anywhere else but the radio broadcasters for the phillies are so much better than the TV folks, but it is HIGHLY variable if we get Larry Andersen the cranky old man who is hilarious versus the more boring regular dudes.
