you know lop eared bunnies, the ones with ears that droop downwards (instead of sticking upwards)? their ears are actually pretty stiff, you know to keep the shape... apart for the VERY tips, which are real soft and bendy... they evolved like that (or maybe selective breeding? who knows) becuase the ears are really long and when they sit down, the tops touch the floor, so they have to be floppy at the tips so they can bend against the floor, and i think thats beautiful.
