I feel a deeper sense of connection with you based on this revelation, for I too have never experienced a 'normal' or consistent world. In fact, the only constant in my experience is that things will go badly for me. Whatever nonsense has to happen for me to lose, it will happen, and in the least predictable way. Haven't lost a hospital bed, but damn if that doesn't sound likely.
I'm sorry you're trapped in a godawful hospital situation. I sincerely hope you make it out better than you went in.
My overall health is in fact better, and I can almost walk as well as I used to. It took a lot of work, and dealing with some incredibly inane decision makers, but I will get out better than ever 👍
