We haven't reached Peak Phone Camera until OEMs start putting lens assemblies parallel to phones' screens to fit in more focal length and enable larger sensors than a reasonable bulge can accommodate.

yeah most high-end phones with telephoto cameras have a "periscope camera" that works like this now
