We are, too! It's a pleasant time, and every time we run into a herd of Pokemon moving all at once, we get so excited. Like yeah, the performance sucks, but it's not a dealbreaker.
I was watching my friend play it yesterday and was like, damn. This game is actually fun as hell
It's the first one I've played since Sun (which was the first one since...Red at the time) and yeah, it's a nice game! Performance could be better, the camera could not clip through the ground sometimes, but the gameplay itself is fine and I'm finding the open world-ish-ness of it to be nice.
I really like not feeling compelled along any particular route to make progress.
Yeah, and every few things I do (gyms/titans/star), I go back and get some classes for like...mostly stuff I already know, but also some weird pokemon lore.
I also found something I haven't heard anything about yet and couldn't get into.
