Was just saying I never heard of the story before now thats all. Feels like a good number of players of No Rest for the Wicked probably have not heard about the past contorversy of the two main founders of Ori and the Blind forest in that team. Its a shame to hear.
Hopefully the team for the valhalla cyberpunk bartender visual novel game have not had any issues or contorversy or problematic team members lately.

I have no idea if conn is involved or not but I can say confidently that everyone involved in the original game either fled the company or was cut loose shortly before or after the original game came out. That none of them are involved with this iteration is imo telling
Apparently the yet to relase Prison Architect 2 original team that worked on the first and the second until now are gone from making the game now lately and another side team is working on it and they won't be returning to do any work post launch on the game other.
Its pretty concerning news to hear hopefully its not too bad of the team or publishers or the higher up people in the small teams but that sounds likely with this news.
Yeah without any first hand knowledge of the situation that was also my read from that line but I was hoping I was missing a more potentially charitable interpretation…
honestly had no idea this even existed until, uh. today. the day before it comes out. though i can't say i've been eager to follow the franchise past the first game given, well, y'know
TBH I feel like it's one of those things where the game has almost zero word of mouth specifically because the previous game's leadership burned bridges so agressively across the entire queer community, and they've consistently failed to address that in marketing the sequel
