I can't believe they found a pic of Willie before he was a redhead

A hideous fruit, disgracing itself.

Even if you are a horrible person who does not care at all about the political value of labor exerting its power1, the writers strike is an objectively good thing purely for your own media consumption. You are spending a relatively short time with disrupted media consumption in exchange for an established stable base upon which better shows can be built.
The TV shows you love exist despite the exploitative corporations, not because of them. If the execs could push a button and make all shows 80% worse and 5% less expensive, they would in a heartbeat. It's the writers (and other wage labor creative professionals) who create the things you value about filmed media, and the more power they have to create stable, livable jobs for themselves the better their work will be. Netflix cancelling every good show is a hack to take advantage of a loophole in writers' contracts, and unions are the only way to close that loophole and make sure the great shows you love get to run to completion.
I know I'm preaching to the choir on cohost, I just like writing these things out both to organize them in my head and to help other people have a clearer articulation of the issues.
With the late '80s having both the pinball tables "Bad Girls" and "Bad Cats", I'm realizing that I want to combine them into "Cat Girls"
Who do I ask to commission a pinball backglass redraw, where the sexy futch women playing pool on Bad Girls are replaced by tasteful cute catgirls playing pool
edit: heck what if they were particularly @zandravandra's characters from "Cat Wishes"
Sexy Futch catgirls?
