Congrats on finishing it! I can recommend you some other podcasts if you want (not necessarily horror ones)
sure! I've got a short list of ones I wanna listen to already but I'm always looking for more :]
Alright so:
Malevolent - really cool mystery and horror podcast! Most of the focus is on the plot and the relationship between two main characters (not romance). Really recommend if you want more eldritch and cosmic horror. Still ongoing.
The Penumbra Podcast - two podcasts in one! One half is about Juno Steel, a private detective on Mars solving cases and falling in love. Focus on characters, plot is of a more episodic nature, but episodes form one narrative. This one’s for you if you want sci-fi, mystery and queer characters. Can’t speak about the other half because I haven’t listened to it yet, but I think it’s about a fantasy world and there’s also a lizard?? Also still ongoing.
Red Valley - Another sci-fi(ish) podcast, but set (mostly) in present time instead of the future. This one’s primarily character and relationship focused, and it does what it does well. Still ongoing, but I think it’s coming to an end soon.
Camp Here & There - This one’s straight up blew my mind and then glued the pieces back together. Amazing writing. Had me in tears. Starts out Magnus Archives-style as episodic without any seeming interconnections, but bit by bit the plot starts to form. First season is out and complete, I heard there’s a second one in production? But the first one can be listened as its own story as well.
