lore time lore time!!

so this guys name is Lochlynn. hes a half-dragon half-incubus prince who left his home in Wunderealm to search for a new life (and a new wife) away from the glamor and responsibility of being royalty. since hes so well known as being Alice's first born, hes constantly trying to escape being recognized, which is why hes hidden himself away on a disappearing isle.

Lochlynn is sweet, caring, and a big ol softie, and a lot of his "devilish" incubus talk is mostly just for show. hes also known for his shapeshifting abilities, which he can usually disguise himself with.

ok so for context; i was explaining to a friend about Sona Lore™️ so these doodles are based on some of our personal characters. i still havent decided on any name for the species yet (Dolls? Patchwork Dolls? Shadow Dolls?) but heres more lore below:

LORE:

While no one knows what kind of world they originate from, summoning one of these creatures is easy. Depending on the type of creature you desire, different magic circles can be used, and sigils outside the circle are optional. Before one starts the summoning, however, one must sew themselves a coat that is personal to themself. The coat can include scraps from old clothing, favorite colors of the summoner, designs of favorite animals, foods or hobbies, star signs, moon phases, birthstones or hand-done embroidery. Once the coat is complete, it can be placed in the center of a magic circle to begin a summoning ritual of choice. The size, shape, and masked "face" of the creature will all depend on the personality of whoever does the summoning.

A word of caution:

Because these creatures are formed based on their summoner, they will often act like a clone, or a shadow. However, because they don't originate from a mortal realm, they have no consequence for acting out. They may act naive, arrogant, rude, or will spill secrets you may not want others to hear...

This creature is not wearing a coat, but possessing it. It's shadowy inner body absorbs light, and can become solid or intangible at will. The creature that possesses the coat is said to be a reflection of the original one who made it.
