i know multiple lesbians who are way into guns so i feel like that's probably more or less the same phenomenon. cool military gadget is cool (military not necessarily cool or good) (gadget may also be an inhumane weapon of war that shouldn't exist)
yeah, i like mech pilots and sci-fi guns specifically under the auspices of fiction- the more realistic, the less i enjoy it
