Never dare hope for good fortune when playing against loaded dice
But dare to flip the tables of the carnies who rigged the game

here i am going over my locally‐stored game soundtracks for the first time in years, checking if any rips have been updated, having just finished Doom SNES and moving on to Doom 64, when this suddenly pops up on my timeline. how
did this ever explain what was planned for the super scope support? i heard it was planned but i cant imagine how itd work
It's possible that remnants of Super Scope support exist in the source, but I don't know how it would work. I believe mouse support was also planned, and I assume they both would have worked similarly.
there actually is mouse support in the final game! but its incredibly weird and hard to use, as far as i could tell from testing it you just cant do most things with it, i feel like itd need a player 2 controller to give you extra buttons so you can actually strafe
Interesting! I had read conflicting reports about it having some basic support.
The source is also up on GitHub, and you can see some references to mouse controls, but nothing referencing the Super Scope: https://github.com/RandalLinden/DOOM-FX/blob/master/source/rlplayer.a
