This is a bit of a goofy one.

The tag is #HotJamsOfGaming, if you wish to follow/mute!
This is a series to spotlight games with good music within it, but I seldom hear discussed. My goal is for folks spend just a few minutes listening to the music here and possibly following up with the rest of the OST.

My random musings below

This is an oddity between the International and Japanese releases. Japan's SNES Double Dragon came out after the International version (I'd guess due to the popularity of the Lee Brothers in the U.S..)

Strangely, this altered the order of the songs, plus NEW songs were added to the game.

Such as Mission One, Las Vegas. Japan's version has a new song:
International
Japan

Which then Japan takes International's Mission One music and uses it for Mission Four, Golden Gate Bridge/Truck:
International
Japan

Which THEN Japan takes International's Mission Four and uses it for the last mission, Mission Seven, Duke's Hideout. What does the International version use? It's own Title Theme that's not used in the Japan version at all.

It's all a bit wacky and your mileage will vary on which version of the game's OST you enjoy more.

I like Japan's more out-of-context as it's more songs, but I like International's more in-context. I can't help but feel like some of the Japan-version songs are a little bit weaker.

Anyway, if you made it this far check this shit out: Original recordings of the soundtrack
