after reading one too many webtoon isekais it does become annoying seeing the gamification of magic/powers. its boring. its a crutch to subpar op power fantasy worldbuilding
i get that the genre is largely commodified for easy digestible and formulaic power fantasies, but have some originality once in a while. not like shonen manga hasnt been doing it with wackier shit for decades
