turn the site back to the normal color scheme and stop fucking with accessibility as a "joke".
seriously. it's not funny, it's extraordinary painful to my eyes, and last night it threw me into a panic that you'd been bought out. this triggered a meltdown on top of everything else this stupid holiday comes with, and i'm lucky my wrist isn't broken as a result.
you should fucking know better, and i expected better from this place.
what seems to be the issues with accessibility for the april fools joke? afaik all the actual post stuff are the original colors so there’s no contrast issues i can think of, and they even have an faq question on the sidebar explaining why the website is blue. i don’t know what else is left for the team to do?
a very obvious button to revert things to normal, since the blue is actually hurting my eyes compared to the usual colors? not making an extremely tone-deaf joke about the site getting bought out in the first place, when this was flocked to as a refuge from twitter getting ruined?
one person's "just a prank" is another's panic trigger, and it's hugely irresponsible to do stuff like this when you're running a website that others rely on for.. anything, really.
