[∆/∇:] coping with some sad tonight by being extremely stoned and listening to The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis, it's our favorite surreal concept album
it's just fucking unhinged from start to finish. the sleeve design is wild and has a whole short story to go with it. a work of absolute genius
[∆/∇:] this is also our first time listening to pure analog on reference headphones, and it's pretty amazing. relatively subtle difference from average quality digital but it's very noticeable in a quiet room with our full attention
back in june we had an incredible experience with a good turntable and speaker setup, a good group of queers, and some choice psychedelics. and it made us realize that the appeal of vinyl to us is more about like.. having listening be more of its own activity than something that goes on in the background. it's a little ceremony that requires care and attention, and that just adds so much to the experience of it
