All of the DATA_SND and necessary commands to run the SNES Arcade mode do actually exist in the prototype build found in the Gigaleak actually do exist in the build at that stage. I'm guessing the build was created in case Nintendo decided to reject the SGB SNES game build and this was their backup version. There are still lots of questions.

Did Nintendo ask Taito to include this mode because they wanted to showcase the SGB capabilities? Did Nintendo provide assistance to Taito for this version? Well, we do know that Nintendo published the final SNES version that was a later retail release.

I will post an update with a few screenshots soon to demonstrate the differences between the prototype and retail builds of the SGB and non-SGB SNES Arcade mode versions.
