edit: apparently the description in the tumblr post is inaccurate, this isn't Tinikling from the Philippines, it's Magunatip from Malaysia (thanks @meow-d)

i'm pretty sure this took place in Malaysia, not Philippines. i'm not familiar with the subject but apparently the dance is actually called Magunatip.
i proud of myself that i'm able to tell at first glance, because 1) the crowds are mostly Malay with maybe some Chinese 2) i vaguely recognize the traditional attire.
