Dracula Review

Less gorgeous and iconic than the 1931 film, looser with plot and pacing than a modern film, this kind of falls into an awkward middle ground. Peter Cushing's incredible stage presence kind of single-handedly drags it back into watchability—Christopher Lee is fine too, but oddly he's at his best when he's just making ominous faces rather than actually _doing_ anything. Honestly not much reason to watch this one unless you're specifically interested in the evolution of vampire portrayals in film.
