Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy Review

I have to assume this is totally baffling to anyone who's not pretty well-versed in KitH. It feels like one big sketch with a few smaller sketches scattered throughout rather than a film that makes sense in and of itself. But that plays to the strengths of the troupe, as does the stormbrained decision to cast themselves as every major character.

Coming to this in that spirit, it's a lot of fun. It's a goofy game of trying to constantly one-up its own humor and stakes, and drawing that out for 90 minutes works surprisingly well. However this may be as a movie in itself, it's great as an addendum to the fifth season of Kids in the Hall.
