Fright Night Review

An entirely competent remake of a film that absolutely didn't need to be remade. As much as I love David Tennant (and he is legitimately a lot of fun in this) he's faced with an impossible task in juxtaposition with Roddy McDowall's iconic performance.

As a side note, I find the concept of "vampires are intrinsically evil once turned" to be pretty boring. It's a stark contrast to everything I've watched recently that really dives into the interiority of the human struggling with the hunger, and Buffy already strip-mined everything remotely interesting about the premise.
