Dracula's Daughter Review
Is this the ur-example of the reluctant vampire? Gloria Holden pulls it off impressively well, but the tawdry goofiness of everything else doesn't really hold her weight. The iconically beautiful set design and ominous vampire moments of the original have vanished, replaced with silly policemen and a Van Helsing murder plot that goes absolutely nowhere.
