Trashy and prurient in all the best ways. More horror movies should have the chutzpah to involve snakefang strap-ons and nuns impaled through the pussy on wooden spikes.
It's also very funny that Peter Capaldi is so young and playing so off-type here that he's almost unrecognizable, but Hugh Grant could play this exact same role today and be completely indistinguishable.
