there's a pretty decent Southern US barbecue restaurant at Monkland and Girouard, Restaurant Moonshine BBQ if you want to try it

There are different types of BBQ depending on where you go, in the US they're mostly classified by which state's style of BBQ a particular restaurant is adhering to. Lots of people will tell you that their favorite type is "the best" but honestly, they're all delicious.
