A good heist lives and dies on its characters as much as its plotting, and this one's got some great characters. The core cast are all obviously heavy hitters, but every secondary character was firing on all cylinders as well, from the suspicious FBI agent with the permanent scowl to the precocious and brilliant daughter. (Also shout out to the incredible names in this film. "Gleema Purdue"? "Max Chilblain"? "Fish Bang"? Top tier stuff.)

Logan Lucky is absolutely my favourite heist movie of the last two decades and one of my all-time favourite movies. Fun to see Benoit Blanc's primordial form, too.

I think about the words "and introducing Daniel Craig as Joe Bang" every single day of my life. the order that people are named in credits and how they're credited is a Very Big Deal, so I have to imagine that was a choice that involved multiple hours of meetings to get approval for
